Justin A. Day

Justin A. Day was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He then moved to Prairieville, Louisiana where he attended East Ascension High School. After high school, he received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southeastern Louisiana University, with a minor in Computer Science. Having completed his undergraduate degrees, Justin moved on to receive his law degree (JD) from Southern University Law Center, where he served as president of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

While attending law school at SULC, Justin mentored underprivileged youth, providing them with one-on-one attention in and outside the classroom. Through this experience, Justin found his mission to provide personal help and attention to those with tough legal battles.

Justin graduated law school in 2003 and was admitted to practice law the same year. Justin is licensed to practice law before all Louisiana state and federal courts.

Justin began his career working as an associate for Vinet & Vinet Law Firm in 2003. As his success grew in the firm, he became partner/owner in 2005; in 2013, Justin became sole partner/owner of Vinet & Day Injury Lawyers.

Still in the same building where he began his career in 2003, Justin now owns and operates Day Law Group Injury Lawyers Injury Lawyers with the same principle he began with, to personally battle the opposition until positive results are gained by each of his clients. He continues to work hard to get his clients everything they deserve as a result of their injuries.

Georgia Shirley

Georgia Shirley

Georgia Shirley was born and raised in Macon, Georgia. She moved to Athens, Georgia to attend the University of Georgia, where she graduated magna cum laude with a double major in both Sociology and Criminal Justice. After her undergraduate studies, she was awarded the Judge Wilbur Owens, Jr. Scholarship and attended the University of Georgia School of Law.

At the University of Georgia School of Law, she was selected to write for the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and worked on the Managing Board and as Articles Editor of the publication. Additionally, she worked in the School of Law’s Family Violence Clinic, where she helped low-income clients obtain protective orders. She received her Juris Doctorate in 2011 and moved to Louisiana.

Georgia has been licensed to practice law in Louisiana since 2011 and is admitted to practice before all Louisiana State and Federal courts. Before joining Day Law Group Injury Lawyers in 2015, Georgia worked in defense litigation and also as an Administrative Law Judge for the Louisiana Workforce Commission. She uses this experience to fight for her clients and make sure they are fully compensated.
